Claire Tatangelo is an artist who lives and works in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her art focuses on storytelling, through observational drawing and creative additions in painting. Born in Toronto, Claire moved to Halifax in 2022. She loves to travel and documents her journeys with a travel sketchbook. She works as an art teacher, art therapist, and enjoys nature as a dog walker. Claire creates art from the experiences that move her and hopes that viewers gain insight into her unique perspective of light, movement and narrative as paintings are developed in the mediums of drawing, watercolour, acrylic and oil.
